My identity

At first i identified as Hispanic. After a whole identity lesson on how u are able to identify yourself in variety of ways. As of august 31,2011 identify myself as chicana, because im proud of my culture after what we disscused about chicanos. Hispanic, to me now means an american fancy way to describe the latin/chican@. chicana is a way to desribe indeginous groupoist. chicanos are down for their raza. i'm strong enough to say i am a chicana. i will teach my daughter that she has the right to identify herself in varies ways.
